Contracts Engineer/Planner

Reports to Business Unit Manager Duties/Responsibilities: a) To administer - control - monitor - execute and manage contract files in a manner that is congruent to the specified details of the contract and maintain profitabilty of the contract. b) To constantly liaise with customers - co-ordinate all production related contracts with H.O. c) Compare tenders submitted to orders received to ensure that the values and company is correct d) Planning of day to day activities for field services and active projects. e) Ensure that all delivery targets and margins are met. f) On site technical assessment and assistance g) Report writing and interpretation of test certificates and results h) Must be able to work independently and without supervision i) Liase with customers and suppliers j) Extensive knowledge of servicing and installation of MV Switchgear k) Must have a good understanding of power distribution networks l) Required to go to site if necesssary Must be willing to get involved in all facets of the Rustenburg branch Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Trade test qualification in electrical or mechanical. Extensive knowledge of servicing and installation of MV Switchgear Must have a good understanding of power distribution networks Working knowledge of mine and safety regulations Valid drivers license, Good communication skills Computer literate, Working knowledge of Microsoft packages, Lotus Notes Working Conditions: Field Services, must be prepared to work long hours both indoor and outdoor if required. Must reside in the Rustenburg area.
