Must have at least 15 Years Experience In design and construction of major civil engineering works that includes large bridges.
Registered with ECSA as an Engineer or similar.
Must have used Balanced Cantilever Methods.
Must be fluent in English.
Applicant will be full time on site.

Bridge Engineer SummaryThe Bridge Engineer is responsible for the design and construction of bridges. They must analyze, design, and plan the construction of bridges to ensure that they are structurally sound and meet all safety standards. Bridge Engineers must also oversee the construction process from start to finish to ensure that the bridge is built correctly and on time. They must have strong communication and organizational skills in order to coordinate with other professionals, such as architects, engineers, surveyors, and contractors. A Bridge Engineer must have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field and must be licensed in the state in which they are working.
Bridge Engineer DutiesDesign, analyze and construct bridges.Inspect bridges for safety and integrity.Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.Develop bridge maintenance plans and budgets.Provide technical advice and support during bridge construction.Conduct research related to bridge construction and design.Bridge Engineer SkillsDesigning and constructing bridges.Analyzing the structural integrity of bridges.Making recommendations for bridge repairs.Maintaining and inspecting bridges.Using engineering software to design bridges.Bridge Engineer RequirementsProfessional Engineer registered with ECSA or equivalent international recognition registration.Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or bridge engineering.Knowledge of at least 15+ years in the design and construction of major civil engineering works that includes large bridges.Strongly preferred experience in the erection of major concrete bridges constructed using balanced cantilevered methods; and the technical scoring shall account for this preference.Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.Ability to read and interpret technical documents.Ability to use computer-aided design (CAD) software.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Need to be on site full time.Personal TraitsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Attention to detail.Ability to work in a team environment.
