Customer Service Division VacancyA vacancy exists within the customer service division. The incumbent of this position will fulfil the necessary requirements within the company to meet the objectives regarding:
Design and Development of Internal Planning functionsDesign of conveyance activitiesTransport planning & Cost ManagementTeam ManagementDuties & ResponsibilitiesKPA's: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to company standards.Coordinate project activities, monitor progress, and proactively identify and resolve any issues or obstacles.Conduct engineering analysis, feasibility studies, and calculations to support warehouse design decisions.Rack design and configuration (designing data driven racking layout).Identify opportunities to optimize warehouse operations, streamline processes, and enhance productivity.Report on warehouse space usage and conduct space creation projects.SHE Adherence.Desired Experience & QualificationQUALIFICATIONS: NQF Level 6 (Minimum 360 credits - Level 8 framework) in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or similar.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Min 3 years' experience in project management and engineering within automotive and/or distribution centre environment.At least 2 years postgraduate experience.Insight & expertise to initiate and implement successful Kaizen projects.Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including material handling equipment, storage racking systems, and conveyor systems.KEY COMPETENCIES: Planning and organizingCommunicationTechnical knowledge and skillsProblem solvingQuality and safety awarenessTeamworkEmail: Updated CV + copies of qualifications.
