Minimum requirements

Grade 12/Matric
Fleet Management Diploma/ Degree or Transport and Logistics Management Diploma/Degree
Minimum 2 years work experience, as a Contract Administrator or Contract Co-ordinator
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
Valid driver's licence
Familiarity with fleet management systems.

Core responsibilities

Monitor project progress, keep track of project expenses, and predict future costs.
Maintaining records, co-ordinating and recommending corrective actions
Assist in the preparing and reporting of projects analysis under the supervision of a project manager.
Understand vehicle maintenance, repair implications and driver safety best practices.
Manage schedules, arrange assignments, and communicate the project performance to the project manager.
Create and update workflows.
Prepare and provide documentation to internal and external key stakeholders.
Coordinate quality controls to ensure deliverables meet requirements. Integrating fleet data into existing software systems
Prepare and provide minutes for meetings within three (3) days after the meeting to internal and external stakeholders.
Oversee all aspects of fleet operations, ensuring efficient utilization and maintenance of vehicles.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of fleet operations, including vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules, and driver logs.
Manage a team of technicians and coordinate their activities to ensure fleet readiness.
Liaise with external suppliers for vehicle repairs, maintenance, and manage downtimes.
Maintain precise documentation and submit monthly reports to the Contracts Manager.

Ability to meet deadlines.
Analytical, Administrative, and Negotiation skills.
The ability to work under pressure and preparedness to work overtime, when required.
Good planning and organizational skills.
