Primary Functions for this position (include but are not limited to):
Processing Cash Book (Weekly & Monthly) (Various Bank accounts including forex)
Loading payments on banking system
Maintenance of FAR
Approval of all project invoices issued
Maintaining Project management schedules/WIP/Revenue in advance
Monitoring stock levels of final stock on hand
Tracking project costs & reporting on final project profitability
Creditors review
Petty Cash Review
Provisions (Provident fund, SARS, Bonus, Fuel etc.)
Reconcile the balance sheet items to supporting documentation monthly
Preparation of the monthly management accounts with supporting file within reporting deadlines
Cash flow report
Preparation & submission of VAT201
Liaise with the Chamber of Commerce, ensuring that all export documentation is correct
Liaise with SARS in matters relating to VAT, PAYE & Customs; ensuring that any queries from SARS are dealt with
Attend to queries relating to the accounting department from other departments & external third parties
Obtaining certification of compliance to regulatory requirements, i.e. Tax clearance certificate
Ensure that all staff members under your control adhere to Company policies, procedures & rules; where deviation occurs, take the necessary actions to remedy the behavior
Maintain housekeeping standards within the administration department
Variance analysis (Budget – Actual)
Assist with ad hoc projects as requested by Financial Manager
Objectives/milestones to be accomplished in 6 months; To be discussed and set on successful employment.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric
Completed Degree in Finance
Must have manufacturing experience
Excellent Computer Literacy (MS Office)
Valid Driver's License
No criminal record
