Consumer Portfolio Manager

Our client, a renowned International Financial Services Group, specialising in financial solutions and advisory services to businesses and high net worth individuals in South Africa, is seeking to URGENTLY appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Consumer Portfolio Manager, to be based in Cape Town, South Africa.PLEASE NOTE:The benchmarked CTC Salary is R30K - R40K per month.KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:At minimum a BCom degree with financial or accounting subjects advantageous.At least 2+ years experience in a sales/client facing position with a solution selling focus.Basic financial understanding, reading and understanding bank statements.Organised individual, who can process high volumes of applications and keep clear communication with all stakeholders.Drivers License (Code 08).Clean Credit Record.Familiar with National Credit Act ESSENTIAL.KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Play a pivotal role in driving business growth, maximizing profitability, and fostering strong relationships through effective new business development, supplier and dealer relationship management, and strategic cross-selling efforts. They approach every day with a client focus.Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the consumer market, focused on key asset classes such as solar and luxury leisure assets.Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential suppliers and dealerships.Onboard new suppliers/dealers within the industry to ensure continuous application flow therefrom.Manage and ensure efficient execution of new applications from initiation to closure.
