Consultant: Sales (Motor Dealer) Job Description The primary job of a sales professional is to sell products, goods, or services to customers in our Motor Dealer segment. The person employs sales techniques to find out what customers' needs or wants and suggests products or services that address their needs. Sales professionals generate more sales by finding new sales leads, with a big emphasis on hunting new business.
Key Responsibility Areas: Achieve and exceed allocated sales targets in the Motor Dealer industry. Build relationships with allocated Motor Dealers. Maintain and increase sales. Target new customers and business opportunities to grow portfolios. Visit customers as per call cycle to maintain relationships or resolve problems. Achieve KPI targets and relevant metrics. Deliver efficient and effective service to both internal and external clients at all times. Respond timeously and effectively to emails and telephone calls. Effect orders in accordance with prescribed system processes and internal documentation requirements. Complete sales reports timeously. Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement, prospective sales opportunities, and penetration. Accurate and timely record keeping and claiming of commissions. Share knowledge with colleagues on best practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needs. Knowledge and Skills: A strong sales personality. Marketing skills. Understanding and application of appropriate sales methodologies. Ability to deliver presentations to Insurance Brokers/Dealerships. Confident presenter to individuals and corporate companies. Relationship building skills. Critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills. Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, and high degree of accuracy. Results oriented: Ability to achieve targets within given parameters. Self-starter, self-discipline, and ability to work independently. Conflict resolution skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Qualifications, Experience, and Role Requirements: Own vehicle and cell phone are essential. Matric/Senior Certificate.
