Ensure a professional and effective service for project managing the implementation of all event marketing activities within designated business units, to ensure that identified event strategies are successfully executed across high net worth and corporate business units. Also ensure the centralised planning of all internal and external events within designated business unit or portfolio.Qualifications:A degree or post graduate degree in Marketing, Public Relations is required.Experience:Marketing and Communications, Events Management.Key Responsibilities:Provide professional and effective event planning and project management service to business units to ensure delivery of high quality functions that will support business strategies and reinforce brand image.Translate business requirements into eventing specifications – requiring good knowledge of the business and a functional and technical understanding of events management.Develop comprehensive operating plans and budgets for each event project and ensure communication and implementation of overall event marketing plan & compiling and maintaining event calendar for individual business unit/s portfolio.The event project manager will take full ownership for the events they manage.Deliver high-quality events functions to support relevant business strategies, alignment/reinforcing the brand image, visibility and relevance.Ensure business events follow general rules and guidelines with regards to Standard Bank policies, i.e. compliance, procurement or governance.
