We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Consultant, Cash (Level 1) to join our team in Bredasdorp, Western Cape. As a Cash Consultant, you will be responsible for efficiently handling various cash and card-related transactions while providing exceptional customer service to our walk-in clients.
ResponsibilitiesProcess a wide range of cash and card transactions accurately and efficientlyAssist customers with teller services, ATM inquiries, and Moneygram transactionsAssess and understand customer needs to provide appropriate financial solutionsEnsure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to cash handlingCollaborate with other branch departments to resolve customer inquiries and issuesMaintain accurate records of all transactions and customer interactionsIdentify potential cross-selling opportunities and refer customers to appropriate bank servicesContribute to maintaining a secure and organized work environmentStay updated on bank products, services, and industry trendsQualificationsMatric requiredNational Certificate in Banking (NQF5 FAIS recognized qualification)Professional Experience Requirements1-2 years of previous branch banking experienceStrong understanding of bank policies and procedures related to telling and frontline supportProficiency in handling bulk cash and ATM operationsFamiliarity with legal aspects of cash handlingKnowledge of various branch department functionsExcellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationshipsStrong attention to detail and analytical abilitiesProficient math skills for accurate cash handling and reconciliationAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenBasic computer skills and ability to learn banking software quicklyDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs
