Consultant- Business Analyst

Job DescriptionResponsibilities of the successful candidate will include:Business requirements gathering and drafting of the relevant specificationsDesign and implement customizations and extensions to vendor or in-house systemsValuation, design, and implementation of new market instruments on the relevant systems from Front-Office to Back-OfficeProcess design and implementationAnalytical ability to diagnose, problem solve, and suggest resolution of issuesOptimizations and enhancements of current systemsDaily business application support when requiredVendor system upgrades - analysis, problem finding, solution building, test procedures, etc.Compilation of support documentation upon completion of a specific implementationSkill SetMaths, Computer Science, and Engineering degrees preferred; Honours or Masters beneficial. CFA, CA, FRM beneficial. Outstanding academic credentials essential. 3 to 7 years' experience within the Corporate and Investment Banking environment and/or similar industry experience. Exposure to leading trading platforms preferred: Calypso, Front Arena, Murex, Summit, Wall Street, Algorithmix, Adaptiv, Openlink. Relevant financial services and/or specific industry experience. Desire to work in a Professional Services environment as a Consultant. Proven track record of delivering services in a high-paced environment. A sound grasp of financial analysis, modeling, and valuation techniques. Excellent writing and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative writing style. Demonstrates strong relationships with top and mid management. A track record of consistently producing excellent results under pressure.
