We seek the services of a skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our Construction Team. The Construction Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all construction activities on site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contractors, ensuring that all work is completed according to specifications, and monitoring compliance with safety regulations. The Construction Supervisor will also be responsible for creating and maintaining construction schedules, ordering materials, and managing construction budgets.
Key Responsibilities: Together with the Construction Manager, coordinate and oversee all construction activities on site.Manage contractors and ensure that work is completed according to specifications.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to maintain a safe working environment.Create and maintain construction schedules.Order materials and ensure they are delivered on time.Manage construction budgets and track expenses.Maintain accurate records of all construction activities.Communicate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met.Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.A tertiary qualification in a building/construction field will be an added advantage.Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role.In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for construction sites.Experience with budget management and cost control.Must have a valid driver's license and own reliable motor vehicle.
