Construction Supervisor: Electrical Engineering (POS24347) AREA: BLOEMFONTEIN, FREE STATE SALARY: MARKET RELATED Job Requirements Qualifications Tertiary qualification in an Engineering or Construction field (BSc, BTech or equivalent as a minimum) Experience Minimum 10 years work experience as electrical site engineer or electrical construction supervisor, with at least 4 years experience on renewable projects Responsibilities The Electrical Construction Supervisor for the solar farm will be responsible for the successful construction of the electrical reticulation network, substation and Eskom switching station on the project. The Electrical Construction Supervisor will be part of the solar farm Site team and will manage the electrical scope of the Balance of Plant Contractor and liaise with the EPCs Engineer on electrical design related matters and the Company Power OE. Exposure and knowledge to multiple project execution will be an added advantage Person Requirements Core Competencies An excellent working knowledge of MS Office Willingness to be site-based in Free State for the full 10 months duration of the project General technical acumen Speaks and writes English fluently Good knowledge of another language is an advantage In possession of a valid drivers license Medically fit Closing Date: 28 November 2024
