Hire Resolve's client is a leading Construction firm that focuses on Residential, Education, Healthcare, and Hospitality projects. They are urgently seeking the expertise of a Construction Site Manager in Cape Town.Responsibilities:Manage the construction site and all related aspects in Cape Town, including effectively managing all site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.Experience in commercial and industrial construction is essential.Manage all Notifications of Delays, Variation Orders, and Non-Conformance Reporting.Interface with client/architect/professionals and be considered the main lead representative on site.Ensure project timelines are met, strictly manage these according to an agreed schedule, and understand that continual planning is required to achieve this.Manage quality on all work and carry out checklist inspections as per quality management procedures (ISO9001 / 2015).Ensure all procurement is managed through the schedule/allowables and purchase orders obtained through the QS department as per the system.Must understand the allowable for labour, materials, and plant and ensure the project stays on budget.Ensure all subcontractor's work is performed to the quality standards of the project requirements and hold bi-monthly subcontractor site meetings.Manage the contract, with the assistance of the Construction Manager.Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to.RequirementsUnwavering attitude towards effective program management, quality control, and cost control.Strong management & interpersonal skills.Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure.Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, or SACPCMP is advantageous.A solid base of at least 6 to 10 years' experience in the construction field, with at least the last 5 years in a proven Site Manager role.A good understanding of the JBCC contract.Computer-literate with a good knowledge of MS Project and CCS Buildsmart would be an advantage.A good understanding of communication channels, and efficient with administration & paperwork.Own transport required.BenefitsSalary: R500K/yr - R700K/yr negotiable.Health plan: Vision, Dental, Medical, Life, and Disability insurance.Retirement: 401k plan.Paid Time Off (PTO): Paid sick leave, paid holidays, paternity, and maternity leave.Health Savings Account (HSA).Professional training and development.Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.Salary: negotiable.Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Alyssa Marson at Hire Resolve or on LinkedIn.You can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV: ****** will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
