Hire Resolve is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee various construction projects.
This role involves leading projects from initiation to completion, including hiring subcontractors, collaborating with vendors, and managing inventory of equipment and materials.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of regulations, permits, and project management methodologies.
They should excel in teamwork, be highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines while staying within budget.
Key Responsibilities: Define the project scope.
Prepare construction estimates based on material takeoffs (MTO).
Create and manage the project budget.
Develop a construction project management plan.
Negotiate contracts with general contractors and subcontractors.
Establish a construction schedule with deliverables and milestones.
Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and machinery.
Manage resources, including materials and personnel.
Coordinate resource logistics.
Generate status reports for stakeholders.
Oversee the performance of the general contractor, site manager, and construction team.
Obtain building permits and ensure compliance with regulations.
Uphold health and safety standards.
Requirements Skills & Qualifications: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication.
Proficient in project management, including time management, budgeting, and scheduling.
Education & Training: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Solid knowledge of construction management best practices.
Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
Up-to-date with construction-related rules and regulations.
Work Experience: 8 years of project management experience in construction, including specialties such as infrastructure, roads, bridges, transportation, water management, pipelines, and treatment plants.
Proven experience managing budgets and schedules.
Experience overseeing construction sites and leading teams.
Strong risk management experience in construction projects.
