Road Construction Materials ManagerThe Hard Hat Professional SA is a Gauteng-based dynamic construction company that has delivered consistent growth through good leadership and innovation since its inception. We are seeking a Materials Manager to manage our quarry (borrow pits) in Giyani, Limpopo.
PurposeTo manage quarries (borrow pits) and be responsible for contracts management within the project's environment, with a special focus on SANRAL Projects.
Experience RequiredAt least 10 years experience in the construction materials fieldMust have experience as Materials Technician on SANRAL projectsRequired QualificationsMust have a minimum N.Dip in Civil Engineering.
Competencies RequiredAssist with technical input to the progress reports on all works being carried out at the site.Review and monitor testing equipment, identifying deficiencies of performance before the occurrence of quality issues.Ensure site work, laboratory tests, and designs are carried out in accordance with specification requirements, codes and standards, and HSE regulations.Ensure proper record keeping of all corresponding information is maintained up to date.Manage acceptance control operations on site.Ensure strict safety and security regulations compliance, and that environmental protection measures during construction are properly carried out.Support the Engineer's Representative (Resident Engineer) and Client in delivering the project in line with requirements, time frames, and quality standards.Apply Site Management System based on ISO 9001 QMS.Seniority LevelMid-Senior level
