Construction Manager (Civil)

We are currently looking for a Construction Manager (Civil) to join our team. This is a 12-month contract position based in the Middleburg area. Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:
Diploma / Degree in Engineering (NQF 7)A qualification in Project ManagementSafety Course: A3A post-graduate degree Engineering will be an advantage (NQF Level 8)Management Development Program will be an advantageExperience:
Extensive experience in the construction industry at a Supervisory or Management levelExtensive experience within the mining industry in the Engineering disciplineExperience in Contractor Management will be an advantageKnowledge & Skills:
Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Mine Health and Safety Act and Environmental LegislationIn depth knowledge of engineering processes and practices, as well as within the construction disciplineAn understanding of contracting principles and contractor managementKnowledge of project management packages such as Microsoft ProjectCommunications skills(written and verbal)Report writing skillsContractor Management skillsPeople Management skillsDecision making skillsBudget and financial skillsInterpersonal skillsProject management skillsStakeholder management skillsAnalytical skillsPresentation SkillsProblem Solving skillsComputer Literacy (MS Office)
