Construction Manager (Civil)

We are currently looking for a Construction Manager (Civil) to join our team. This is a 12-month contract position based in the Middleburg area.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:
Diploma / Degree in Engineering (NQF 7)
A qualification in Project Management
Safety Course: A3
A post-graduate degree Engineering will be an advantage (NQF Level 8)
Management Development Program will be an advantage

Experience:
Extensive experience in the construction industry at a Supervisory or Management level
Extensive experience within the mining industry in the Engineering discipline
Experience in Contractor Management will be an advantage

Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Mine Health and Safety Act and Environmental Legislation
In depth knowledge of engineering processes and practices, as well as within the construction discipline
An understanding of contracting principles and contractor management
Knowledge of project management packages such as Microsoft Project
