Join a large and well-established short term insurance company and utilise your consolidations experience.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPreparation and management of external audits across the GroupStatutory records of all group entities (CIPC)Maintaining accounting records and recordkeeping of Group entitiesPreparation of annual financial statements of all Group entitiesPerforming consolidation and preparation of consolidated annual financial statementsMonthly consolidation of entities for group reporting purposesEnsure timely and accurate daily cashflow requirements and cashflow reportsAdhere to timely treasury investment instructionsMonthly reporting of operating costsCompliance with tax legislation and SARS compliance, including PAYE, VAT and Income Tax for Group entitiesPreparation and distribution of monthly management accounts of subsidiary companiesPreparation of annual budgets for subsidiary companiesImplement, enforce and adhere to adequate and strong internal financial controlsEnsure that all corporate compliance within finance environment is adhered toDesired Experience & QualificationAccounting DegreeCompleted SAICA/SAIPA ArticlesMust have strong consolidations experienceInsurance experience would be an advantageSAP experience would be an advantageIFRS 17 knowledge and experience would be an advantagePackage & RemunerationMarket related.
