About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our client, based in the Greater Manchester area or other locations such as Merseyside. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a wide range of projects, working closely with clients and leading design teams. This role offers a unique opportunity for significant influence on the direction of the business in the Northwest region.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and delivery of structural engineering projects.Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians.Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources.Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry contacts across the Northwest, particularly in the Greater Manchester and Merseyside regions.Option to work remotely with flexibility or establish an office in your local area to set up and grow a team.Key Requirements: Chartered or near Chartered status (CEng or IEng) with a recognised institution (ICE, IStructE, etc.).Proven experience working as a Senior Structural Engineer within a consultancy environment in the Northwest of England, particularly Greater Manchester and Merseyside.Strong technical knowledge in structural design and project management across a variety of sectors (commercial, residential, industrial, etc.).Existing network of contacts in the Northwest region is vital.Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or within a team.Our client is based on the Isle of Man and there will be regular travel to the head office.
