Network Health & Automation
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive know-how in data analysis & data visualization
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools preferably AWS QuickSight
Solid understanding of relational database concepts & SQL
Experience with ETL workflows & data transformation
Experience in UX design for reporting solutions
Familiarity with basic enterprise IT network technologies (Routing, Switching etc.)
Familiarity with ITIL processes, including incident, change, and problem management.
Experience working in an enterprise environment
Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with Agile Working methods (e.g.
Scrum)
Experience with restful APIs
Programming skills, preferably in Python
Understanding of Cloud computing principles
Experience in IT Infrastructure or Application operations
Experience in working with Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs) for IT Assets
Experience with IT orchestration & automation solutions, e.g.
Rundeck, Ansible
Experience in designing and optimizing user interfaces and workflows for database systems
Experience with common data formats, e.g.
YAML, JSON
Understanding of AI technologies and their applications
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues/users
Ability to handle high-pressure situations
Ability to identify and implement ways to reduce complexity
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Willingness to take over responsibility for topics which go beyond Reporting/BI

WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?
BSc Computer Science or equivalent qualification
>5 years experience in BI, Data Visualization & database systems
Relevant IT Qualifications and knowledge
WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?
Develop and maintain reporting solutions for the global IT network operations teams at the Group
Creating valuable insights in existing network infrastructure data
Collect, analyse and interpret data from sources like CMDBs, Operational Databases, Network Management/Monitoring Systems and others
Present the data in a way that the network operations teams can take decisions based on it (e.g.
for capacity steering, lifecycle planning, analysis of reoccurring incidents etc.)
Setting up new Reporting solutions & migrate existing solutions towards new platforms
Designing data flows between different existing and new solutions
Taking over responsibility for additional areas (beyond Reporting/BI) within the team
Engage regularly with stakeholders (mainly the global network operations teams): comprehend their requirements, and advise them on how to best utilize the available solutions
Manage problems, changes, and incidents
Continuously improve reporting processes and solutions and leverage new technologies to enhance data visibility and enable data driven IT network operations
Development, testing, deployment, maintenance and support software applications
