As the AOU Connected commerce manager  you will play a fundamental role within the team in helping unlock new digital growth territories for recruitment and conversion through retail partnerships Key Highlights working in the role: Working on a client that wants to disrupt the market and do things differently.

Supportive culture that places people first, from their well-being to career development About the role: Deep understanding of ecommerce platforms (marketplaces, eGrocery, FSA / Quick commerce) which includes platform specific user funnel, capabilities, and retail media opportunities.
· Candidate should have a good understanding of the commerce business goals, leveraging knowledge of platform capabilities to bring ideas and executions to live.
· Possess experience in best usage of retail media to achieve ROI for brands, exposure to data driven decision making, knowledge of platform's annual marketing calendar.
· The role of commerce manager will comprise of two distinct but complimentary workstreams, this being ecommerce (off-site) and connected commerce (On-Site) Primary responsibility is to bring best collaboration among all stakeholders (TCCC X Bottler X Platforms X OpenX) to agreed, approve, implement, and achieve best ROI Responsibilities  a.
Attend brief triage sessions and understanding of business goals b.
Evaluation of platforms and their capabilities to meet brief requirements and fulfil business goals c. Finalization of initiative calendar with TCCC X Bottler X OpenX d. Agreement on platform/s usage to activate planned initiative e. Liaison with selected platforms to design touchpoints / tools/ tactics by initiatives f. Agreement on assets based on designed touchpoints with Platforms X TCCC X Bottler X OpenX g. Based on agreed assets and inputs brief, OpenX to develop an execution plan including campaign media plan and content development plan h. Coordinate with TCCC X Bottler to approve recommended execution plan i.
Management of production pipeline and ensure timely delivery of deliverables such as assets to platforms j.
Supervision of end-to-end campaign execution by OpenX - Implementation, monitoring, optimisation, reports, and learnings Ecommerce scope & understanding The existing core media scope for ecommerce covers the planning and buying of any media which seeks to drive traffic to a retailer environment (also known as Offsite).
For example, if you were looking to drive traffic from a social media platform towards a specific retailer and wished to optimize the campaign towards a CPA/CPC goal.
Other examples of in-scope eCommerce activity : • Targeted display /Retailer audience extension bought via DV360.
• Facebook Collaborative Ads • Programmatic display • Shopmium offsite couponing • Paid social that drives traffic to a retailer environment even if optimised towards a CPA/CPC goal • Programmatic or search activity that drives traffic to a retailer environment even if optimised towards a CPA/CPC goal Connected Commerce (on-site) Connected commerce, also know as 2nd party partnerships or onsite, is the over-arching approach to and activation of media within a retailer environment.
(marketplaces, eGrocery, FSA / Quick commerce) 2nd party JBP partnerships play a critical role in our data conversion and sales contribution.
Partners include FSA and QSR partners such as, but not limited to, Glovo, Jumia, MR D, Uber Eats, Checkers etc Examples of Connected commerce activity: • Media activity bought and optimized within a retailer environment, this can include in-retailer banners, in-app buying and retail search optimisation.
• Banners in-retailer environments (including bought through Criteo) • Direct media 'add to basket' butterfly search/shelf • Promogaming • Targeted couponing • Live social onsite, in-app Experience: • Bachelor's degree required • 5+ years of related experience in Ecommerce or data/analytical field required • Previous retail and/or ecommerce experience required • Expert understanding of Excel (advanced reporting), PC Skills, including MS Office, and MS Outlook • Understanding of Strategy • Merchandising, accounting, and/or business experience a plus • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, dealing with ambiguity • Must be able to think strategically and see the big picture while knowing how to execute it tactically • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral • Strong project management/time management skills • Extremely detail oriented Application deadline: 01 July 2024 Benefits: Our Total Cost to Company includes essential benefits such as medical aid, provident fund, severe illness, risk, and life cover.
