Key Output • To provide technical assistance to the planner related to preventative maintenance in terms of content and execution.
• Manage scheduled oil sampling data and recommend preventative maintenance interventions.
• Data Analysis of telematics from machine and application.
• Aggregate data and make calculated and informed recommendations for preventative maintenance.
• Effective utilization of skills, experience and available tools and technology to make preventative maintenance recommendations.
• Manage run fleet productivity optimisation program.
• Manage VIMS data reports and machine health information (HEI, Vision Link, Technician toolbox, ET).
• Effective management of backlog.
• Understanding of 5 elements of condition monitoring effective manage machine reliability.
• Provide preliminary data report for component root cause analysis.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies • Matric • Trade Test qualification as an earthmoving mechanic or Equivalent • Sound machine and component operational knowledge and systems.
• Basic business and financial acumen • Exposure to business planning / budgeting processes • Good working knowledge of the Minerals Act (with sound knowledge of safety rules and regulations) • Sound business communication and presentation skills • Sound MS Office knowledge , Problem solving, Analysis and judgement Numerical reasoning • Building Relationships and networking/Liaison, Customer Responsiveness • Technical Analyst experience will be advantageous.
