This role involves working with both established African markets and new market entries. The Compliance Specialist will review the technical aspects of products related to certification, evaluate requirements, and provide technical compliance advice to ensure jurisdictional compliance.Your key job responsibilities as the Compliance Specialist in Cape Town will include:Coordinate, process, and monitor product certification projects for both established and newly regulated gaming and betting markets.Communicate efficiently and maintain strong relationships with gaming regulators, accredited testing laboratories, internal departments, external customers, and other stakeholders within the regulatory landscape.Ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements and are certified and approved according to jurisdictional standards.Maintain knowledge and assist in the analysis of gaming and betting technical compliance standards in established and newly regulated markets.Identify, improve, and document business processes to align with compliance requirements and increase efficiency.Assist in maintaining a library of technical standard documents and keep accurate, up-to-date records for product certifications.Develop project plans, track progress, prepare and maintain status reports, and manage expectations.
