Compliance Monitoring Specialist (Broader Africa)Job Description To provide robust regulatory compliance advice, guidance, and support by monitoring processes and related controls in accordance with compliance methodology and minimum standards.
Role Purpose Monitoring of all regulations that is required to ensure compliance with legislation by providing assurance to the Compliance Officer that the bank has adequate controls, Policies, Standards and procedures in line with legislative frameworks.
Are you someone who can: Provide administrative support to the Broader Africa (bA) Head of Monitoring (HOM)Support in the implementation of the MCOE strategy across Broader AfricaEnsure timely completion of coverage plan as directedReview all compliance monitoring reviews completed by the in-country compliance teamsProvide support to the bA MCOE team in the completion of monitoring engagements in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP)Responsible for all bA centre led monitoring reviewsProvide training, guidance and support to the country teams on the application of monitoring standards and procedures, archer documentation and capacity management module on archerMonitor status of implementation and compliance with monitoring proceduresSupport HOM in co-ordinating combined assurance reviews with Internal Audit/ GIA, Operational risk and the country MCOE teamsCo-ordinate bA compliance monitoring automated and or analytics based monitoring reviewsResponsible for the consolidation of country quarterly MCOE reportsAssist the HOM by compiling reports, liaising with country MCOE teams, as directed to obtain information communicate obtained information; following-up on delegated assignments; knowing when to act and when to refer matters to the HOMResponsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of records such that they are easily retrievable; reports summarizing findings, reports of major findings, recurring issues and archer data quality based on Power BI (compliance eye)Co-ordinate and/or make arrangements for Compliance monitoring related training, and maintain records of the attendance registersAre you interested to take the step?
