time left to apply End Date: December 4, 2024 (6 days left to apply)job requisition id R25667Job DescriptionDear Future Compliance Manager,The role requires you to ensure the implementation of the Group's compliance frameworks and programmes in consultation with the business, ensuring conformance and adherence with regulations and delivering through a team of Compliance resources/specialists. Ensure adherence to organisation policies and procedures, especially regulatory and ethical standards. Perform regular audits, design control systems, and help to design and implement company policies.Are you someone who can:Deliver against operational and cost targetsPrioritise resource allocation to minimise and reduce wastageDeliver customer experience excellence aligned to organisational values and service standardsBuild professional long-term relationships with internal customers based on trust that builds the brandDeliver service that exceeds internal customer expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solution selection and application.Provide internal customers with relevant information to keep them informed of products and service options identification of improvement opportunitiesImplement, monitor and control business processes according to quality standards; policy; and compliance and governance requirements in area of accountabilityEnsure the development, alignment, mapping, and implementation of end-to-end processes aligned to the customer journey mapResearch, enable, and consult on improvements and opportunities to harness technology and platform enablementReview existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimise redundancyAnalyse and interpret regulation and legislation using a risk-based approach; identification and risk rating of applicable laws and regulations for responsible business unitsDevelopment and implementation of compliance/legislative universe for responsible business unitsDevelopment and implementation of Compliance Risk Management Plans (CRMPs) for core legislative and regulatory provisionsIncident reporting, to ensure timely escalation of compliance risks and incidents. Interpret regulation and legislation and assist business units with practical implementation thereofAdvise and provide guidance to management on systems, policies, processes, and controls implemented to enable complianceResearch and communicate applicable legislative developments to all stakeholdersAssist with the promotion of a culture of compliance and awareness and actively participate in compliance projects and training initiativesProvide training on applicable regulatory requirements to relevant compliance and business stakeholdersEnsure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy, and governance requirements in area of accountabilityEnsure implementation of relevant policies, governance, and practice standards across the businessMaintain knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices, and internal compliance procedures and requirementsEnsure compliance is adopted in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by the organisation and review in response to audit findings and changesImplement and provide input into the development of governance and compliance procedures and processes within the area of specialisation and identify risksEducate others and make suggestions for improvementsNetwork and participate in specialist risk forums where requiredProvide input into the development of the business area tactical strategy in achievement of the overall business strategyDevelop and implement an area operational plan in achievement of business objectivesResponsible for implementing and enforcing the organisation's or business units' compliance programMaintain awareness of regulatory framework and specific obligations in all Market Conduct related legislation, particularly the National Credit Act (NCA), Consumer Protection Act (CPA), and Home Loans and Mortgage Disclosure Act (HLMDA)Ensure comprehensive consolidated compliance reporting with clear articulation of trends and risk insights.Facilitate appropriate escalation and aggregation of issues.Coordinate Regulatory reporting (annual compliance returns, quarterly statistical returns)Consult on an ongoing basis with operational managers to ensure conformance with applicable conduct laws and regulationsParticipate and contribute to a development culture where information regarding successes, issues, trends, and ideas are actively sharedBuild and sustain collaborative working relationships with relevant peers and stakeholders to achieve productivity synergiesParticipate in specialist communities of practice and contribute positively to own and organisational knowledge improvementPromote teamwork and inclusivity amongst team members and demonstrate behaviours that respect diversityPartner and collaborate with team members to achieve team successShare information and knowledge that benefits the teamManage team delivery against goals in the area of responsibilityManage performance moderation, disciplinary action, recognition, and retention processes in line with HR policies and proceduresParticipate in Talent Management practices and processes in line with HR policies and proceduresImplement employment equity plan targets in all recruitment and employee movement activitiesManage performance of employees by clearly defining goals and objectives and providing direction, coaching, and regular feedbackEnsure skills are transferred in specific functionsEnsure conflict resolution and respond to any complaints or concernsSet relevant stretch goals for team and motivate achievementIdentify training/development needs and proactively identify effective solutions to address own and employee development gapsEnsure that each employee prepares a personal development plan, reviews these plans, and ensures implementationUnderstand which competencies and skills are required to be mastered to ensure personal and employee development and performanceKeep abreast of learning opportunities, changing products, and trendsYou will be an ideal candidate if you:Have a minimum bachelor's degree in compliance, risk management, legal, or similarHave a minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance with National Credit Act (and other market conduct related legislation)Have a proven track record of managing market conduct programme and ensuring regulatory compliance.Have experience dealing with multi-level stakeholders across a large groupYou will have access to:Opportunities to network and collaborateA challenging working environmentOpportunities to innovateWe can be a match if you are:Adaptable and curiousHave a proven successful track record.Thrive in a collaborative environment#Post#Fnb#LI-ZN2Are you interested in taking the step?
