Job DescriptionTo ensure legislative oversight:
Legislative background in Risk ComplianceResponsible for project implementationControl testing/assessment advisory to the regulative perspectiveEnsure implementation of the Group's compliance frameworks and programmes in consultation with business to ensure conformance and adherence with regulationsEnsure adherence to organisation policies and procedures, especially regulatory and ethical standardsPerform regular audits, design control systems, and help to design and implement company policiesKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver against operational and cost targetsPrioritise resource allocation to minimise and reduce wastageMonitor costs for the financial year according to the operational planAllocate and approve expenditureReview cost reports and resolve or explain variances to the budgetIdentify, control, and escalate potential risks that may lead to increased costsManage costs or expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficienciesProvide input into the budgeting process and monitor utilisation for the financial year according to the operational planProduce or review budget reports to ensure they accurately reflect work activityEnsure financial documentation is maintained to support accurate record keeping and future legislative requirementsEscalate potential budget risks that may lead to increased costs or financial lossesCustomer ExperienceDeliver customer experience excellence aligned to organisational values and service standardsBuild professional long-term relationships with customers based on trustCollect and interrogate information and feedback to ensure full understanding of customer needsDeliver service that exceeds customer expectations through proactive, innovative solutionsProvide customers with relevant information to keep them informed of products and service optionsCompliance ResponsibilitiesMonitor and interpret regulation and legislation using a risk-based approachDevelop and implement compliance/legislative universe for responsible business unitsProvide guidance to management on systems, policies, processes, and controls to enable complianceResearch and communicate applicable legislative developments to all stakeholdersEnsure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy, and governance requirementsJob DetailsApplication Closing Date: 28/09/24
