Job DescriptionTo ensure legislative oversight, the candidate will be responsible for:
Legislative background in Risk ComplianceProject implementationControl testing/assessment advisory from a regulatory perspectiveImplementation of the Group's compliance frameworks and programmes in consultation with the businessEnsuring conformance and adherence to regulationsAdherence to organisation policies and procedures, especially regulatory and ethical standardsPerforming regular audits and designing control systemsDesigning and implementing company policiesResponsibilitiesDeliver against operational and cost targetsPrioritise resource allocation to minimise and reduce wastageMonitor costs for the financial year according to the operational planAllocate and approve expenditureReview cost reports and resolve or explain variances to the budgetIdentify, control, and escalate potential risks that may lead to increased costsManage costs or expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficienciesProvide input into the budgeting process and monitor utilisation for the financial year according to the operational planProduce or review budget reports to ensure they accurately reflect work activityEnsure financial documentation is maintained to support accurate record keeping and future legislative requirementsEscalate potential budget risks that may lead to increased costs or financial lossesPresent work proposals on planned activities that will require financial resourcesCollate, analyse, and evaluate data and information to forecast expenditure and cash flow trends and make recommendations to improve the budgetCustomer ExperienceDeliver customer experience excellence aligned to organisational values and service standardsBuild professional long-term relationships with customers based on trustCollect and interrogate information and feedback to ensure full understanding of customer needsDeliver service that exceeds customer expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solution selection and applicationProvide customers with relevant information to keep them informed of products and service optionsCompliance and GovernanceImplement, monitor and control business processes according to quality standards, policy, and compliance requirementsResearch, enable, and consult on improvements and opportunities to harness technologyReview existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processesMonitor customer feedback reports and align processes to maximise efficienciesAnalyse and interpret regulation and legislation using a risk-based approachDevelop and implement compliance/legislative universe for responsible business unitsCompile monitoring plans and reports on compliance monitoring methodologyProvide training on regulatory requirements to channelsJob DetailsApplication Closing Date: 28/09/24
