Your key  job  responsibilities as the  Compliance Manager  in  Durban  will include: Oversee the compliance framework for multiple gaming licenses in Kwazulu-Natal, Western Cape, and Mpumalanga.
Act as the main point of contact for provincial Gaming and Betting Boards, managing all communications and requirements.
Ensure full compliance with licensing conditions across the organization, staying one step ahead of regulatory changes.
Spearhead B-BBEE and transformation initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals.
Represent the company at inspections, meetings, and public hearings with Gaming and Betting Boards—making sure everything is in tip-top shape.
Take charge of the annual renewal process for Managers and Bookmakers licenses, keeping everything running smoothly.
Submit quarterly compliance reports to Gaming Boards promptly and accurately.
Guarantee legal compliance at all retail outlets, leaving no stone unturned.
Draft and manage all compliance-related correspondence, ensuring everything is up to code.
Ensure the Risk Management and Compliance Programme (RMCP) is current and communicated to the appropriate team members.
Conduct monthly FICA audits, ensuring all processes are in check and compliant.
Lead FICA training sessions to keep the team ahead of the curve on compliance standards and best practices.
Be the driving force behind the company's B-BBEE initiatives, ensuring compliance with Gaming Board requirements and national codes.
Manage the annual B-BBEE verification process and recommend strategic improvements to enhance the company's score.
Track social responsibility and enterprise development projects, ensuring accurate reporting and meaningful outcomes.
Develop the company's annual training budget and monitor workplace skills plans to foster a culture of learning and growth.
Requirements for this  Compliance Manager job  in  Durban : Relevant diploma or certification in compliance, law, or a related field.
2-5 years' experience in a similar compliance role, ideally within the gaming or highly regulated industries.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
Expertise in drafting policies and procedures with a solid understanding of risk management.
Sharp analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communicator—both written and verbal, with an ability to simplify complex compliance matters.
Meticulous attention to detail and a knack for staying organized.
The ability to work well under pressure, balancing multiple tasks without missing a beat.
