Compliance ManagerA Compliance Manager with a LLB qualification is required in the Logistics/Freight industry.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and controls by relevant laws and regulations in the logistics and freight industry.Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry regulations that may impact our operations.Provide training and education to employees on compliance matters, including ethics, anti-corruption, and data privacy.Investigate and address compliance issues, violations, and complaints promptly and effectively.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as operations, legal, and finance departments, to ensure alignment with compliance requirements.Liaise with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and external partners on compliance-related matters.Prepare and submit reports to management and regulatory authorities as required.Develop and maintain effective compliance monitoring and reporting systems.Desired Experience & QualificationRequirements:Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institution.5 years' experience in compliance management within the logistics and freight industry.In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing logistics and freight operations in South Africa.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and a high level of integrity.Certification in compliance or related fields is a plus.Only SA Citizens will be considered.Package & RemunerationR 50 000
