ROLE DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Your role as Community Associate is to be the first point of contact, to manage the front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of operational & administrative tasks:1. Customer Service & Satisfaction:Welcome & greet members and visitorsHandle members complaints - either address them or report them upwards2. Operations:In charge of:Opening the space in the morningPerforming Business Concierge tasks (mail, bookings, binding etc.)Mail & Package Handling (e.g. PO Box, mail reception & dispatch)Managing Facilities TeamManaging Valet Services (Optional as per Brand Standards)Handling Inbound Phone calls & Space email addressPrinting Services (e.g. vendor, printer, cartridges, paper etc.)Visitor Management SystemMeeting Rooms (e.g. booking, video conference, arrangement etc.)Reception Area & Common Areas (e.g. Plant Management, magazines, sound system, music, art etc.)Electricity ManagementMaintenance & RepairsEmergency Health responseDouble checking building common areas are up to standardsRepresenting the CompanyAssisting the Community Manager in:Onboarding new membersOrganizing events (e.g. Open House, Networking, Round Tables etc.)Giving Tours to prospective membersCollecting Google reviewsCollecting membership feedbackProviding IT backup for the space & to membersMaintaining space compliance (e.g. Insurance, business permits etc.)REQUIREMENTS:BoldAgilePassionate about Africa and our mission ("To Unlock Africa's potential through work")Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative with hospitality background or similar role.Customer service orientedProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteHands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers)Professional attitude and appearanceSolid written and verbal communication skillsAbility to be resourceful and proactive when issues and complaints ariseExcellent organizational skillsMultitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
