Job Description
This role is responsible for proactively and creatively generating positive editorial coverage, in all the available internal media channels. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through the efforts of others, over periods of up to a year.Role Description & Key Result Areas:
Develops and Executes the direct communication strategies and integrated plansProduces material for specific communication projects aligned with the overarching business communication strategies as well as portfolio plans.Responsible for internal and external communication media and content in portfoliosResponsible for continuous improvement andreview of the communication mechanisms based on business requirementsResponsible for staying abreast of communication trends and provides thought leadership on improving best practice and best in breedResponsible for supporting business strategy creating and implementing change management communication strategiesEnsures brand alignment between OML, Segment and portfolio messagesEnsures brand adherence in portfoliosNetworks and builds relationships with executive teams, senior leadership teams and key stakeholders in other lines of businessDemonstrates the ability to work independently and take direction from others, solve problems with limited supervision, prioritize tasks, multi-task and meet deadlinesDemonstrates ability to plan and execute events and conferences successfullyQualifications and experience: Role Requirements Relevant University Degree (essential)Minimum 5 years relevant experience, including a min. 2 years management experience (essential)Advantageous: Financial Services Industry exposure (desired)Advantageous: Experience in corporate communications in a listed company (desired)Skills Education Closing Date
