Position Overview: As the Communications Manager at you will be the linchpin of our internal and external communications strategies. You will develop and execute communication plans that enhance our brand reputation, engage stakeholders, and support our corporate objectives. Your role will be pivotal in crafting compelling narratives, managing media relations, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with our business goals, enhance brand visibility, and support key initiatives. Content Creation: Write, edit, and oversee the production of various communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, internal communications, and marketing collateral. Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and journalists. Coordinate press releases, media briefings, and interviews to ensure positive coverage of our company and its activities. Internal Communication: Manage internal communication channels to keep employees informed and engaged. Develop content for company newsletters, intranet, and other internal platforms. Crisis Communication: Prepare and execute crisis communication plans. Provide timely and effective communication during any corporate issues or emergencies. Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels. Monitor and manage the companys online presence, including social media platforms. Event Management: Plan and coordinate company events, trade shows, and other promotional activities. Ensure effective communication and marketing of these events to targeted audiences. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various departments to gather insights and support communication needs. Engage with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry associations. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Communications Manager with a strong background in the manufacturing industry preferred. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to develop and implement communication strategies. Strong media relations skills with experience in managing press inquiries. Proficiency in using communication tools and software (e.g., CMS, social media platforms). Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Personal Attributes: Creative thinker with a proactive approach. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
