The Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing effective communication strategies that enhance the organization's internal and external engagement. This position requires a creative thinker with excellent organizational skills and a strong background in human resources, organizational psychology, or business management, complemented by knowledge in change management and communications.
Responsibilities: Design and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Assess current communication practices and identify areas for improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate regular communication with employees to ensure transparency and engagement.
Oversee the creation of engaging content for various channels, including newsletters, intranet, social media, and press releases.
Ensure consistency of messaging across all platforms.
Develop communication plans that support change initiatives within the organization.
Train and support teams on effective communication during transitions.
Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address potential risks.
Act as a spokesperson when necessary, managing the organization's reputation.
Analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
Prepare reports on communication metrics for leadership review.
Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals.
Foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
Requirements Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Management, or a related field.
Completion of a course/module/diploma in Change Management or Communications is highly desirable.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, with a focus on internal communications, change management, or related areas.
