CategoryCorporate Store Operations Closing Date7 April 2024This is an exciting opportunity to work in our Retail Communications team, supporting the execution of activity in our stores. You'll be responsible for planning and developing communication packages to stores, partnering teams across the business and advising on the right communication channels to get their messages across.
As part of a team of communicators, you'll work with all areas of the business to deliver operational communication needed for stores to execute our corporate Activity Plan; from putting products on shelves to engaging in new colleague initiatives across all our formats.
This job will require monthly on call weekend shifts

"That's more like it" "Find your role" Creating, developing and maintaining the ownership of the internal communications calendarCo-ordinating and delivering a timely communication plan aligned to area(s) of the businessProof reading all content and editing supporting documents to ensure they adhere to Asda brand guidelinesSupport the administration of various tasks including note taking for the Retail Huddle, rota management and making sure all cascaded information is up to dateSupport with the creation of content including script writing, filming, editing and photographySupport the delivery of the retail communication strategy including coordinating projects and timelinesCoaching colleagues on the communication channels and timelinesFinding opportunities to simplify communication for Retail teams, through measuring the effectiveness of communication at 'the shelf edge' and reacting to feedback"Let's find out about you" We need someone who is agile and able to work across a number of different priorities.
