Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Communications and Change Specialist to join their team in Johannesburg on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, attractive rate and a great working environment.Communication and Change SpecialistWe are looking for an experienced Communication and Change Specialist to join our IT team. This role focuses on driving effective communication and managing change initiatives within the Digital Workplace Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications, a good understanding of IT processes, and the ability to lead change efforts that align with: D Tech requirements.Responsibilities:Develop and implement change management strategies for IT.Analyse the impact of changes on stakeholders and create customized change plans.Guide the organization through IT transitions, ensuring smooth adoption of new initiatives.Monitor change initiatives to ensure they meet objectives and deliver desired outcomes.Design and execute communication plans to effectively convey IT changes but also standard templates to various audiences.Develop engaging and clear content for communication channels.Ensure consistent and coherent messaging across all IT communications.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support change initiatives.Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback into communication and change management strategies.Identify and address training needs related to IT changes.Develop and deliver training programs to help users adapt to new processes.Provide ongoing support and resources to users during and after the implementation of changes.Work with project teams to integrate communication and change management plans into overall project timelines.Ensure that communication and change management activities are aligned with project goals and delivered on time.Report on the progress of change initiatives and communicate any adjustments needed to stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in communications or equivalent Diploma, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.3 to 5 years of experience in communication and change management, preferably in an IT environment.Strong understanding of IT systems, processes, and project management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into user-friendly content.Proven experience in leading change management initiatives and engaging stakeholders.Certifications in change management or communications (e.g., ITIL) are a plus
