Communication and Change Specialist - 12 Month Contract
Minimum Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12)
Bachelor's degree in Communications or equivalent Diploma, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in communication and change management, preferably in an IT environment.
Strong understanding of IT systems, processes, and project management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into user-friendly content.
Proven experience in leading change management initiatives and engaging stakeholders.
Certifications in change management or communications (e.g., ITIL) are a plus.
Responsibilities:
Change Management:
Develop and implement change management strategies for IT.
Analyze the impact of changes on stakeholders and create customized change plans.
Guide the organization through IT transitions, ensuring smooth adoption of new initiatives.
Monitor change initiatives to ensure they meet objectives and deliver desired outcomes.
Communication Strategy:
Design and execute communication plans to effectively convey IT changes and standard templates to various audiences.
Develop engaging and clear content for communication channels.
Ensure consistent and coherent messaging across all IT communications.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support change initiatives.
Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback into communication and change management strategies.
Training and Support:
Identify and address training needs related to IT changes.
Develop and deliver training programs to help users adapt to new processes.
Provide ongoing support and resources to users during and after the implementation of changes.
Project Collaboration:
Work with project teams to integrate communication and change management plans into overall project timelines.
Ensure that communication and change management activities are aligned with project goals and delivered on time.
Report on the progress of change initiatives and communicate any adjustments needed to stakeholders.
