Job Description:
Plan and manage capacity and service levels for Trucks and Owner Drivers.
Coordinate to ensure sufficient transport capacity.
Coordinate with Commercial to ensure sufficient plug-in capacity for trucks.
Manage operational service levels in accordance with transport.
Daily planning of transport.
Execute daily operations of trucks and drivers, allocation of loads in Navision, and do CTO's.
Assist Commercial for transport quotes to all clients.
Update load information to reflect load status.
Ensure accuracy and utilization of information on the App.
Follow up on daily loads using available systems/App and report to the correct person.
Manage and resolve invoice and job card queries.
Ensure non-client rates are maintained and communicated to Finance for invoicing.
Approve out-of-the-norm costs for invoicing for payment and recovery.
Ensure correct responsible party for deviations and follow up on outstanding payments.
Manage your team in conjunction with HR and budget staff according to seasonal requirements.
Plan and manage staff leave in accordance with operational and statutory requirements.
Manage recruitment and retention of the best candidates.
Develop staff ensuring continuous learning of the team to improve overall staff competencies.
Effectively communicate and ensure compliance with company goals, values, strategy, and policies.
Maintain a credible leadership profile in line with the organizational culture both internally and externally.
