The ideal candidate must possess extensive sales experience/knowledge especially in the digital space, with strong traits in client engagement, relationship-building, and the ability to drive revenue growth through strategic selling. Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Business Growth:
Develop and execute strategies to drive digital business growth.
Identify new market opportunities through detailed market research, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Success is measured by market share and revenue growth.
Client & Business Development:
Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new market segments.
Drive revenue by managing a robust sales pipeline and negotiating client contracts.
Achieve revenue targets and maintain high client retention.
Product & Service Management:
Work with product and marketing teams to prioritize and launch digital solutions.
Oversee product performance, ensuring it meets market needs and sales targets.
Financial Oversight & Budget Management:
Manage the commercial budget, ensuring resource efficiency and profitability.
Monitor financial performance, staying within budget and achieving financial goals.
Pricing & Cost Management:
Implement competitive pricing strategies and collaborate with sales to optimize conversion rates.
Ensure profitable pricing structures and successful sales outcomes.
Procurement & Supplier Management:
Oversee procurement processes, negotiating competitive pricing with suppliers.
Achieve cost savings while maintaining quality supplier relationships.
Contract & Tender Management:
Manage key contracts and tenders, ensuring compliance and competitive pricing.
Successfully secure tenders and manage contracts within budget and deadlines.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
Implement succession planning and training programs to support business goals.
Governance & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to governance requirements and company policies.
Maintain full compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
Business Improvement & Project Management:
Improve business processes and lead projects that enhance productivity and margins.
Complete projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Estimating & Financial Reporting:
Maintain competitive pricing models and oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy.
Accurate costing and reporting will drive strategic decisions and support financial objectives.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in a similar role, particularly in the digital products or platform space.
Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
Exceptional negotiation and leadership abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
Knowledge of market trends in production workflow management and digital marketing technologies.
