Commercial Management Accountant

COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANTAre you inquisitive and enjoy analytical type work? Are you a confident and independent person who is a fast learner? This role is for you!Reporting to the Divisional Executive, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following (amongst other duties):Assisting DE with cost and sales analysis and reportsPreparing forecasting estimatesPreparation and analysis of various monthly Sales Reports and Sales EstimatesPreparation of Costings and Maintaining all costing data on the systemMonth end schedules and reports on various costs, margins etcPreparation of and continuous improvements on key management statistics in the business (R/kg, throughput, number of wage heads)Assist DE with preparation of annual budgetsAssisting the Divisional Executive and Team with ad hoc assignmentsMinimum RequirementsB Com/B Compt degree (with accounting subjects) or completed CIMA minimumBcom Honours (Finance or Accounting Honours) advantageousMinimum 2 years work experience in a cost accounting role (Incumbent must have solid Cost/Management Accounting experience in a Manufacturing environment)Manufacturing management accounting experienceSAP experience will be beneficialAdvanced Excel and Microsoft Office essentialDesired SkillsAnnual Financial StatementsAnnual ReportsBudget AnalysisBudget ManagementBudgetingCostingMonthly Closes
