We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Diver to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for commercial diving operations, providing underwater services for various industries including offshore oil and gas, subsea construction, underwater welding, inspection, maintenance, and more.
As a Commercial Diver will play a critical role in ensuring all diving operations' safety, efficiency, and quality.
Your key responsibilities will include diving tasks, including repair, and construction of subsea infrastructure such as pipelines, platforms, and marine vessels.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct underwater welding, cutting, and installation of subsea structures, depending on the project requirements.
Operate diving equipment such as diving helmets, diving bells, and surface-supplied diving systems.
Conduct inspections of subsea structures (pipelines, rigs, ships, marine constructions) and underwater surveys for data collection or damage assessment.
Record accurate details of the condition of the structures or equipment and provide recommendations for repair or further action.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards during diving operations.
Be prepared to respond to emergency situations both underwater and on the surface, including decompression emergencies, rescue operations, or any diving-related accidents.
Complete detailed dive logs, including tasks performed, equipment used, and any notable observations or anomalies encountered during the dive.
Work closely with the diving team, supervisors, engineers, and other personnel to coordinate dive plans and ensure operational success.
Qualifications: Strong knowledge of commercial diving equipment and techniques.
Commercial Diving Certification (e.g., ADCI, IMCA, ADAS, or equivalent).
Valid offshore survival training (e.g., BOSIET, FOET, HUET) or other region-specific safety certifications.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial diving, ideally in subsea oil & gas, energetic, marine construction, or offshore environments.
Knowledge of safety procedures, diving regulations, and emergency protocols.
Ability to work in challenging environmental conditions, both in terms of underwater conditions and offshore logistics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly in high-pressure situations.
Strong physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of commercial diving.
Willingness to travel to offshore or remote work sites, and work extended shifts or rotations, including weekends, holidays, or during off-peak hours as required.
Preferred Qualifications: First Aid & CPR certification.
Specialized certifications (e.g., underwater welding, cutting, or NDT inspection) may be required depending on the job.
Experience with advanced subsea tools and technology such as ROV systems, sonar, or survey equipment.
Previous experience diving in harsh environments (e.g., Arctic, deepwater, high-pressure, or high-temperature locations).
