COMMERCIAL AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ATTORNEYLocation: PRETORIASalary: DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCEThe ideal candidate for this role is generally responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for various business transactions, such as partnerships, leases, and sales agreements, as well as handling disputes in the field of intellectual property law.Minimum Requirements:Law degree from a reputable universityAdmitted attorney in South Africa in good standing with the LPCFellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law3 years of relevant experience in the roleCompetently and successfully handling all aspects of IP dispute work, including:Drafting of letters of demandFiling and management of South African trade mark oppositionsHandling foreign dispute matters with correspondent attorneysAttending to advisory work in relation to trade marks, copyright, domain names, and company name objections
