Reporting to: Operations Manager Job Purpose: To manage the collections, productivity and administrative performance of the Collections Agents against set targets Location: Woodstock, Cape Town KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Under the management / direction of the Operations Manager, the Team Manager will have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to): Management of performance against set targets; Collections Productivity Quality Act as point of escalation for queries and complaints Ensuring understanding of the business and legislative requirements Full staff management Reporting Any ad-hoc duties REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 2 years working experience in a Team Management role Management experience in a Collections environment is advantageous Competent in MS Office at an intermediate level o MS Word o MS Excel o MS Office SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ATTRIBUTES: Strong financial skills Target driven Able to manage conflict A proactive team player Strong administrative discipline Ability to think on your feet and use initiative Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to listen and actively provide feedback Strong customer orientation (TCF principles) Attention to detail Excellent organisational and planning skills Willing to learn REMUNERATION STRUCTURE: A basic salary Commission earning potential Benefits at the full cost to the Employer; Funeral Cover (at the full cost of the employer) Life Cover (at the full cost of the Employer) Disability Cover (at the full cost of the Employer) Medical Cover (at the full cost of the employer , after successful completion of the probation period) WORKING HOURS: Mondays – Fridays : You will be required to work a maximum of 9 hours per day (in the week that you do not work a Saturday) and a maximum of 8 hours per day (in the week that you are working a Saturday) shifted between the times of 07:00 and 20:30 as agreed by management.
Saturdays: You will be required to work a maximum of 6 hours per day on a maximum of 2 Saturdays per month shifted between the times of 08:00 and 14:00 as agreed by management.
