Cold Storage SupervisorOur client is a proud supplier of high quality pork to the majority of production and retail outlets in the Western Cape. They are looking for a Cold Storage Supervisor to join their team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesStock control from deboning department to freezersStock control stock booked out from freezers to clientsDaily livestock figures to managementTo assist with export documents when neededOrdering of materials (pallets, etc.)To ensure orders are accurate and complete communication to clients and Telesales in the event of shortagesBe able to work in cold conditions (+5 to -25 degrees)Work overtime when neededMonthly stock takeFinancial year end stock takeTime and attendance of employees in departmentRecord keeping of all returns and the inspection of the quality of the returns in conjunction with the Quality Control employeesDesired Experience & QualificationEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:MatricRelevant tertiary qualification advantageousEXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:3 - 4 Years experience in a similar positionBasic knowledge of pork products / cutsAble to maintain discipline in the departmentSober habitsAble to concentrate and work under pressureComputer literate (MS Office and Abaserve)Good communication skills on all levelsGood mathematical skillsGood timekeeping
