Code 14 Driver

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform vehicle inspection such as checking fluid level and tire pressures Loading and Offloading Notify Logistics Supervisor of any repairs and maintenance needed Maintain the vehicle clean and safe Drive vehicle to designated destinations for customer product deliveries Drive safely, follow all traffic laws and deliver products within deadlines Analyse delivery address, determine appropriate routes and maintain schedule Report any accidents or injuries to Logistics Supervisor Load stock according to the delivery note Ensure that upon delivery, client signs the delivery note, all signed PODs to be handed in daily to the Logistics Supervisor Daily delivery trip sheet to be filled in and handed daily to the Logistics Supervisor Interact with clients professionally as all times REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 3 years experience in a similar role Knowledge of the National Road Traffic Act 93 of 1996 Valid Drivers Licence - Code 14 REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Excellent customer service skills Excellent negotiation skills Effective communications skills Time management skills No criminal record
