Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience: A relevant Master's Degree4 years of managerial or coordinator experience in working with academic qualificationsA minimum of 4 years experience in Cooperative Education and Work-Integrated LearningTrack record of extensive industry partnership-buildingExperience with successful WIL student placements in industryKnowledge of higher education legislative framework related to cooperative education and work-integrated learningExperience with curriculum development in WILPromotion of research in WIL-related topics and the future world of workExperience with staff and student development programsA Valid Driver's LicenseRecommendation: A PhD will be a recommendation.Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities: Initiation and maintenance of partnerships for Co-operative Education or/and Work Integrated LearningInformation management that ensures harmonization of WIL management system and use of a single system across faculties and campusesDevelopment and implementation of a marketing plan for the Graduate Recruitment Program (GRP) and the Work Integrated LearningHost staff and students development workshops promoting the future world of workBudgeting and monitoring of expenditure related to the Co-operative Education UnitDevelopment of a research culture for Co-operative Education and/or Work Integrated LearningGeneration of written reports and implementation of relevant policies on Learning, Teaching and AssessmentGood interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent organizational and report writing skillsComputer LiteracyTeamwork with people from diverse backgroundsA quality-oriented work ethicGeneral Information: Closing Date: 01 September 2024
