Cnc Team Leader – Heavy Engineering – R600K – R500K

Overview
Hire Resolve's client in the Heavy Engineering industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced CNC Team Leader to join their team in Cape Town.
Responsibilities:

Monitor production rates and intervene when output does not meet set targets.
Ensure that production processes meet specified requirements.
Monitor production quality in accordance with procedures and work instructions, instituting necessary interventions to achieve required quality.
Ensure employee compliance with safety instructions and regulations, correcting any unsafe conditions.
Maintain agreed standards of housekeeping.
Address IR-related issues as necessary.
Undergo any identified training to fulfill the above position.
Liaise with supportive departments to resolve problems in your area.
Optimize CNC programs and ensure best practices are followed.
Train and develop team members as per the skills matrix plan.
Develop and update SOPs.
CNC programming using relevant software for CNC lathes, milling machines, mill/turn, and Swiss type machines.
Ensure CNC programs are met.
Follow relevant management processes such as daily employee timesheets, production and quality visual boards, scrap reports, etc.

Requirements:
Trade: Fitter & Turner
Minimum of 10 years of related experience, preferably in the mechanical industry.
Benefits:
Salary: R500K/yr - R600K/yr, negotiable based on experience.
