CNC Machinist required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Gqeberha , Eastern CapeRequirements:In-depth knowledge of CNC MachinesProficient in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of Technical drawing software packages, e.g. Mastercam, viscam , AutoCAD, etc.In-depth knowledge of Grinders, lathes & milling machinesExperience on Fanuc controls (milling machines)Master cam experience is essential (Min. 3 years)Min. 3 years' experience operating CNC milling machinesMust be able to use the basic measuring interments (i.e. Vernier, micrometre, dial indicator)Must understand and be able to read engineering drawingsBasic understanding of GD&TProgramming G- code & MastercamResponsibilities:Operate CNC Milling machines and Wire cutter to manufacture componentsDevelop Prototypes, verify tests/trials and Manufacture tools to required specifications.Solves problems and suggests solutions to machiningPerform any other assigned reasonable dutiesMachine Uptime: Maximize machine utilization and minimize downtime.Programming Efficiency: Optimize CNC programs to reduce cycle times and improve productivity.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivityTroubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and resolve technical issues with CNC machines and programs.Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, and maintain a clean and organised workspaceShould you wish to apply please email your CV through to Kerry O'Hagan at
