Primary purpose of the job: Providing proper patient care as per GPP (Good pharmacy practice) regulationsAttending training on pharmacy acts and GPPCompliance with the POPI Act regulationsAccurate capturing of prescriptions, acute and/or chronic medication. (As per SOP)Accurate handling of rejections as per SOPHandling of clinical discussion and/or enquiries with patients and health care professionals or SPN'sResolve Rejections and prioritize adding scripts to WIPAttending to cluster and personal action diariesCompliance to SLA requirements (completing of mailbox/rejections profiles, action diaries within required timelines)Attending to and responding in a professional manner to email (TAT of 2 hours) messages or enquiries received from management, SPN's or membersAttending to OUT OF WIP notificationsAttending to rejected prescriptions and templates from Blind checking as priority, in order to ensure SLA complianceAttending of SOP training and SOP revision trainingCompliance with Company Policies, Procedures and SOP'sStock management – understanding the cold chain processes, expiry dates, stock returnsHelping in clinical help desk on Saturdays as per rosterEnsure correct reporting to external service providers on a daily/weekly/monthly basis as neededOrdering stock with order department on items out of stockCorrect handling on Section 21 item in terms of ordering and claimingSending medication/appliances quotes using the correct formatPaper claims submission using correct documents and follow up on outstanding payments thereofAttending to Ex-Gratia claims and follow ups thereofManagement of patients on diabetes using continuous glucose monitoring devices (Pumps, Transmitters, sensors etc.)PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operational requirementsCompletion of daily allocated work according to requirementAttending to action diariesSLA complianceMML adherenceCompetency in SOP assessmentsCustomer service and internal process compliance (Quality assurance)

Prior experience with Diabetes management, diabetic CGM appliances
LICENSING & ACCREDITATION: Need to be registered at SAPC
TRAINING REQUIRED: Training on company systems (e.g. Medipost APP, online authorization system and procedures, ESS, etc)
Medipost Bridging course for internal Medipost appointment
Familiar with Microsoft Office
Verbal and written communication skills, listening skills, patience, empathy, conflict resolution, customer service orientation, accuracy, data capturing skills, interpersonal skills and relationship building skills, able to work under pressure, adaptability, effective time management, detail-oriented
Sound knowledge on GPP (Good Pharmacy Practice) and pharmacy acts
