Position summaryMedipost Pharmacy is looking for a professional self-driven individual to join the Special department in Order Processing. The successful individual will be placed in Gezina (Pretoria).
Primary purpose of the job Providing proper patient care as per GPP (Good Pharmacy Practice) regulationsAttending training on pharmacy acts and GPPCompliance with the POPI Act regulationsAccurate capturing of prescriptions, acute and/or chronic medication (As per SOP)Accurate handling of rejections as per SOPHandling clinical discussions and/or inquiries with patients and healthcare professionals or SPNsResolve rejections and prioritize adding scripts to WIPAttending to cluster and personal action diariesCompliance with SLA requirements (completing mailbox profiles, action diaries within required timelines)Attending to and responding professionally to email messages or inquiries received from management, SPNs, or membersAttending to OUT OF WIP notificationsAttending to rejected prescriptions and templates from Blind checking as a priority to ensure SLA complianceAttending SOP training and SOP revision trainingCompliance with Company Policies, Procedures, and SOPsStock management – understanding the cold chain processes, expiry dates, stock returnsHelping in the clinical help desk on Saturdays as per rosterEnsure correct reporting to external service providers on a daily/weekly/monthly basis as neededOrdering stock with the order department on items out of stockCorrect handling of Section 21 items in terms of ordering and claimingSending medication/appliances quotes using the correct formatPaper claims submission using correct documents and follow-up on outstanding payments thereofOperational requirements Completion of daily allocated work according to SLA requirementsQueries appropriately followed up until finalizedTelephonic interaction with patients and other healthcare professionals where neededCompetency in SOP assessmentsAttending to action diariesCustomer service and internal process compliance (Quality assurance) Focus on minimizing errors and customer-related complaintsCompliance with SOPsProductivity and Time management Productive and available according to hours as stipulated in the contractESS: Responsibility to manage leave in accordance with company policiesEco time compliance: Daily clocking procedures in accordance with company policiesCompliance with Company Policy relating to HousekeepingQualifications Grade 12Experience Licensing and AccreditationRegistered at the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)Training Required Medipost APP system training, SLA training, company policies and procedures, computer literacyTraining on company systems (e.g., MHRS online authorization system, ESS)Competencies (Key Behavioral Areas) Verbal and written communication skills, listening skills, patience, empathy, conflict resolution skills, customer service orientation, accuracy, data capturing skills, interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills, time management, able to handle pressure, deadline-orientated, neatness, initiative, confidentialityVersatility to perform any departmental duty if requiredSpecific Requirements Half-day attendance to clinical work every day for the purpose of trainingOther important information Willingness to work overtime when required by managementFor continued professional development, the attendance of product training is highly recommendedAttending to INV and other Cluster action diariesAssisting with email inquiries relating to stock issuesAssisting with email inquiries relating to financial inquiriesAssisting with email inquiries relating to claim inquiries
