Flight Test Engineer
Flight testing sits at the core of Cloudline's product development. We are looking for a flight test engineer to join our team and test our airship designs and payload systems in order to provide engineering and production feedback as well as develop our operational systems. You will be responsible for designing the flight profiles with the engineers in order to gather the data needed, improve the flightline and operational procedures, maintain our fleet of airships, test new payload systems, conduct flight tests and ground tests of our airships and their systems, and travel for deployments and build them out.
Requirements
Technical degree, e.g., engineeringCore understanding of flight principlesExperience in the unmanned aviation sectorKeen to build standards, processes, and engage in product developmentExperience with various drone payload systems, e.g., multispectral camera, 3D mapping camera, etc.Experience with processing drone payload data, e.g., Pix4D experienceKeen interest to plan UAV flights, execute them, and process the collected dataAble to problem-solve creatively and quicklyAbility to find and fix technical problems related to unmanned vehiclesOther Requirements:
